Hurricane Sandy

In October, 2012 one of the deadliest storms to ever hit North America made landfall along the eastern seaboard. This story explores the effect the storm had on New York City and the surroundeding region, which was brought it’s knees. Subways, streets and tunnels were flooded, entired neighborhoods were destroyed and millions lost access to power, running water and fuel. By the time the storm receeded it had killed more than 230 people and caused $75 billion dollars in damage.
